Over the coming years EEA expects to complement proven micro finance with the following other activities, in partnership with like-minded organizations that are finding new and better ways to build upward from micro finance to larger social enterprises, which connect with the world economy, produce profitable linkages for the communities, and achieve sustainable growth:
- Hub Enterprises for Youth: Motivate young people in the civil sector to build capacity to create jobs and become social entrepreneurs.
- Grassroots Social Investment: Invest in people and leaders of grassroots organisations to help determine needs, resources, and solutions to solve educational, environmental, health, and other social problems in their communities.
- Entrepreneurial Education: Develop entrepreneurial capacities to encourage people in starting a successful business. Key issues of managing small-scale businesses such as product creation, marketing, life-skills, and taking decisions under risk are offered through workshops which provide hands-on experience.
- Financial and Technical Help for SMEs ( Small and Medium Enterprises) and Social Business Start-ups: EEA is going to work as an mediator between start-ups of sustainable local businesses that aim to promote social and environmental goals (“sustainable development”) and the right business partners, investors, and donors
